Kerr Lake- Saturday & Sunday

So, I don't have any pictures for these days. My dad accidentally took my camera back to Rocky Mount. I also haven't mentioned yet that I had lost my voice recorder, I believe on Tuesday. Thankfully, on Sunday, my dad found it on our boat. I knew I was planning on taking it on the boat that day, but never remembered actually taking it. It may have been in my camera bag and easily fell out.

Saturday we went and ate lunch at Ruby Tuesday's again. This time it was Chris, myself, Grace, Matt, & Kay. After lunch we went back to the arcade and played a few games. I was a little sad that I didn't have my camera on Saturday b/c Kevin, Kathy, and Matt did a few tricks:( I was really looking forward to getting shots of that. There's always next year.....

All of the Bain's and my bro, Donna, and Allison all left on Saturday. I'm glad Matt and Kay stuck around for most of the day though. It was a sad day. I seriously could have stayed a few days longer. The lake has NEVER gone by as fast as it did this year!

When Sunday rolled around the rest of us packed up and headed home. Chris and I left first. We had already made plans for the day, so we had to get back to RM. We headed back to my house and cleaned up. Then we went over to mema and papa's house for a bit. Before we headed to Raleigh we stopped by Chris' parents house to say hello. Our plans for the evening were to go to see Harry Potter at the imax theater in Raleigh. It was really awesome! The fighting scene at the end of the movie was in 3d. I was surprised at how dead things were in this part of town. Pretty much every restaurant was closed! I don't think I've ever been in this area...I thought it was really cool place! Chris and I just hung out in Chapel Hill the rest of the night. Monday I headed back to Denver.

For me, flying home for the lake is something that's a no-brainer. I don't get to see these people very often. To get to spend the week with them is a honor:) I'm glad Chris got to see this part of my life, b/c obviously the lake is a HUGE deal to me and the rest of us! Can't wait until next year!
