Aperture 2.0

Thanks to my Fiance and his good buddy I got a free copy of Aperture 2.0!! I actually don't have a Mac, so I can't use it right now. Chris has a Mac that I'll give it a test run on to see how I like it. I've only used it a few time with Peggy....

For those of you who aren't Photographer's this post will not entertain you in any way:) Sorry!

It's a Monday!!

Chris and I are celebrating our 1 year Anniversary today :) Whoo Hoo!!

Life has been really busy since my visit to Budapest. I have a full time job here in Rocky Mount, which means my time after work is slim to none. I have been working really hard to get all of the Budapest photographs edited, but I just haven't had enough time to crank it ALL out!! I'm actually pretty burnt out on it right now. That's what happens when you view the same pictures over and over and over and OVER!!

There is good news though. I am going on a beach trip with the people I work for on May 7th. Every year the company treats the women to a little getaway. This year they are going to Emerald Isle!! I haven't been here in a very long time, so I am very excited!!! My goal is to sleep in, enjoy the beach, eat at pizza at Michelangelo's, and devote time to FINISH editing my trip to Budapest!!! Can I get another "Whoo Hoo!"

More updates coming in the near future!!

Kerri's Visit to Rocky Mount

Kerri came to Rocky Mount the weekend of my Engagement Party. She stayed the whole weekend since it was a good little drive for her from King. Saturday morning we went to the Art Museum. I think it's such a cool place. This is the third or fourth time I've been this year and I still LOVE it!!!

They have a cute little area for kids to play dress up and do little art project:) Of course Kerri and I had to take part in this FUN!!

Queen Kerri!

I'd like this piece for my future Kitchen:)

We stopped by one of our local greasy burger joints when we left the Art Museum. I'm not too sure how Kerri liked it, but it's definitely one of my favorite places if I want to eat a messy melt in your mouth cheeseburger. It's the only place that I will eat chili on my burger. I'm usually not a big fan of chili!

Holy Moly KANSAS!!!

I went to bed thinking Memphis won.
I woke up thinking Memphis won.
I picked up the Newspaper and
assummed it would say Memphis won.
BUT Yahoo informed me KANSAS won!

I was actually pulling for Kansas. Yes, they tore our (meaning UNC) butts to pieces, but I really just didn't want Memphis to win. I will give Memphis some credit. They really are better than I've admitted to. It's hard to judge by the conference they came from. They've beat some really good teams in the Tournament.

Hopefully now that Kansas FINALLY won a NCAA Tournament (it's been like 20 years) they will get over the whole Roy Williams situation. That's so...how many years ago?!?!?! I am very thankful that Roy's at Carolina. I know it must be hard to have to be pulled between two schools he loves. I really didn't have a problem with him being at the game to support Kansas last night (and even wearing a Kansas pin). Kansas is a part of his life still and I respect that.

Now I'm just ready for the whole NBA Draft to be over with. After that I will officially be able to get ready for next season:) It's been a VERY good year for my boys (UNC)!!!

PS-In the next couple of days I'll share some images from Saturday night when I went to the Dean Dome to watch the game (you know the one...BLAH!).

Kay's Birthday!!!

Thursday was Kay's Birthday!! We went over to Matt's parent's house to celebrate her Birthday and watch a little Carolina Basketball. Before the game we attempting a little fishing. Though we didn't catch anything Kay did get a couple of bites:)

Matt screwed up his fishing pole...Just kidding...I don't really know what happen!

We're so cute:)

Matt is not a very good poser:) I'm not sure what he was doing in this one!!!

The sun was setting as we got ready to head in for the game...

During half time of the UNC game we ate Birthday cake! YUM!
