Wedding 5

This was my fifth wedding that I shot with Sara. I headed over to the guys house and took a few shots of them getting read.

When they were ready I followed them to a park to take a few group shots. I think I ran about three red lights on the way there. Boys!

Arriving at the church.
I went upstairs to the balcony and prepared myself for the ceremony to begin. The girls ended up coming up stairs too. They were getting all of the flowers for the girls and grandparents. The Bride's dad also got a few moments with his daughter.

The Bride's dad checking out the scene...

This was actually taken before anyone arrived. It was a HUGE church!

Kerr Lake- Saturday & Sunday

So, I don't have any pictures for these days. My dad accidentally took my camera back to Rocky Mount. I also haven't mentioned yet that I had lost my voice recorder, I believe on Tuesday. Thankfully, on Sunday, my dad found it on our boat. I knew I was planning on taking it on the boat that day, but never remembered actually taking it. It may have been in my camera bag and easily fell out.

Saturday we went and ate lunch at Ruby Tuesday's again. This time it was Chris, myself, Grace, Matt, & Kay. After lunch we went back to the arcade and played a few games. I was a little sad that I didn't have my camera on Saturday b/c Kevin, Kathy, and Matt did a few tricks:( I was really looking forward to getting shots of that. There's always next year.....

All of the Bain's and my bro, Donna, and Allison all left on Saturday. I'm glad Matt and Kay stuck around for most of the day though. It was a sad day. I seriously could have stayed a few days longer. The lake has NEVER gone by as fast as it did this year!

When Sunday rolled around the rest of us packed up and headed home. Chris and I left first. We had already made plans for the day, so we had to get back to RM. We headed back to my house and cleaned up. Then we went over to mema and papa's house for a bit. Before we headed to Raleigh we stopped by Chris' parents house to say hello. Our plans for the evening were to go to see Harry Potter at the imax theater in Raleigh. It was really awesome! The fighting scene at the end of the movie was in 3d. I was surprised at how dead things were in this part of town. Pretty much every restaurant was closed! I don't think I've ever been in this area...I thought it was really cool place! Chris and I just hung out in Chapel Hill the rest of the night. Monday I headed back to Denver.

For me, flying home for the lake is something that's a no-brainer. I don't get to see these people very often. To get to spend the week with them is a honor:) I'm glad Chris got to see this part of my life, b/c obviously the lake is a HUGE deal to me and the rest of us! Can't wait until next year!

Kerr Lake- Friday

I didn't have a lot of pictures on Friday. Pretty much just a few pictures of us playing uno....which Matt won AGAIN:) We did the same oh same oh....floated around and went out on the boat. That evening we (Chris, myself, Grace, Kevin, Donna, and Allison) went out to eat at Ruby Tuesday. Allison made a little friend while we were there. She kept asking the little girl what her name was, and Allison would call her the wrong name. She was very giggly too. Little kids are so funny!

Kerr Lake- Thursday

This is what we call a round board. You've probably never seen one because we're the only ones that have one! A fellow from our church made it a long time ago. It's pretty sweet!

My brother trying to be all cool with his glasses! Come to find out he did lose them on one of his adventures on the boat...

I love what Kathy did with the round board:)

We're just having a good time....it doesn't really matter what we were doing here:)

Little Eye! Big Eye!

Chris came up that evening after work. We went and ate seafood soon after that. I tried the BBQ sandwich again this year. It was just okay. We've ate at 220 seafood for as long as I can remember...if only I liked seafood! At least I haven't had a hairy cheeseburger in a while!

When we got back Chris played horseshoes with Matt, Billy, and Kevin. Grace and I went out on the canoe.

At the campfire we played Pop Culture Cranium. I discovered I have a hard time not talking while I'm acting. I just like to encourage my team:) I think everybody was impressed at how Chris would get all of the random ones that nobody knew. Kathy and I were attempting to get everybody to stay up late. I think the latest we made made it was 1am. I hope we didn't disappoint you Paula!

Kerr Lake- Wednesday

We drove out to the Dam probably around 10:30 or 11 that morning. There's this little island that is really cool to go to. There's these really cool sand dunes out there, but Grace and my brother couldn't fine them when they tried to walk out there. It was hard to tell where it was when you are right up on it. This area is more like a beach, it's sandy and the water is pretty clear. Next year we'll have to bring our floats out there. Actually a few people who came while we were there popped up a huge open tent.

Grace is a heavy sleeper! She can sleep through about anything! I'm not sure how she managed to fall asleep on the boat. Kevin, jokingly, started jerking it around a little bit, but she still didn't wake up.

Grace wasn't the only one that was sleepy:) I think this picture of Donna and Allison is really cute.

I just learned this year that Kerr Lake was a man made lake. It is one of the largest in the east. This Dam actually leads into Gaston Lake.

After we returned from the Dam we went out on the Hardy boat for some tubing!

We usually go get pizza one of the days while we are at the lake. Matt's family and my family went this year. We met Kathy at the arcade when we were done.

I think this is a really cute picture of Kay, Billy, and Matt. I wish the one with them kissing Vickie (Matt's mom) would have turned out:(

We all wanted to beat Matt at putt-putt, but sadly it didn't turn out that way. Grace and I were the only ones to get a hole-in-one though.

Hole-in-one Face!

I thought this looked like a boy with an afro, so we created a face:)

After putt-putt we played a few games in the arcade. Grace won 500 tickets on one of the games and I won 200. I think we ended up with around 1600. They're kinda slacking with having new prices at the arcade, but we managed to spend them all! Either way it was a lot of fun!

This year was a sad year, only because the Freeze Maid Dairy Bar was not open. Thanks to Phylis and Kathy for saving the day, we still had are banana splits! We placed our order from their camper window and picked it up from their camper door. I must admit that it tasted a lot like the Freeze Maid Dairy Bar!

Bronco hung out by the campfire a couple of nights. He was going to stay over with Grace and I, but he wanted to go back to his camper.
